The hypnotic trance will not feel any different from the ‘normal’ state of conciousness, and will feel like day dreaming.  Hypnosis is a normal, natural state, so will feel familiar.

What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is a natural state of inward focus, it is just like being absorbed in watching a really good movie, it puts you in a relaxed state so that you don’t have to worry about anything else.

It is such a heightened state of focus that it gives your mind more control – not less!! The therapy works with the subconscious mind, which is where all of our learning and behaviours come from, in fact 99% of our daily thoughts, behaviours and emotions are controlled subconsciously – this is why lasting change needs to happen while working with the subconscious.The positive suggestions made are like seeds that are planted, they then take root within the subconscious mind.  All sessions are tailored based on your needs and your ‘model of the world’ and language.

The mind/body connection – our body, especially our immune system eaves drops on our thoughts and internal dialogue and sends a signal throughout the body, that’s why it is important that what we focus on what we tell ourselves. 

What is Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)?

NLP – or Neuro Linguistic Programming is the art and science of learning to be your best self. It is about understanding the way we behave, think and communicate with ourselves and the world around us. It helps you to understand how you operate as a person.

Neuro is the mind or nervous system and our human experience.

Linguistic is the language we have coded in our minds and the meaning we give to it. 

Programming is the behavioural response based on the way we think and speak to ourselves and then behave as a result of this. 

When we understand this it shows us a way to remove self-imposed limitations and unlocks your potential for a success mindset. It enables you to have choice over how you feel, your emotions, your behaviours and physical states.

Whether we meet in person or over Zoom, we’ll discuss the behaviors and beliefs that are holding you back. By delving into the core of the issue, we will begin the journey of rewiring and retraining your mind. All you have to do is sit or lie down and enter a relaxed state of conscious awareness while I do the work.

After our session, you’ll receive a personalized recording from you to listen to for 30 days. This will help you break your old habits and thought patterns, paving the way for a more positive, fulfilling life.
